Jason Reza Jorjani, PhD is an Iranian-American and native New Yorker of Persian and northern European descent. After receiving his BA and MA at New York University, he completed his doctorate in Philosophy at the State University of New York at Stony Brook.
Jorjani has taught courses on Science, Technology, and Society (STS), the philosophy of Martin Heidegger, and the history of Iran as a full-time faculty member at the New Jersey Institute of Technology. Earlier he taught Comparative Religion, Ethics, Political Theory, and the History of Philosophy at the State University of New York. He is a professional member of the Society for Scientific Exploration (SSE) and also works with the Iranian Renaissance, an organization dedicated to bringing about a cultural revolution in Greater Iran on the basis of the pre-Islamic Persian heritage.
His first book, Prometheus and Atlas, was published by Arktos in February of 2016 and went on to win the Book Award from the Parapsychological Association. In October 2016, Jorjani became the Editor-in-Chief of Arktos Media. Jorjani was also one of the co-founders of the AltRight Corporation in January of 2017. Within less than a year, Jorjani resigned from the Alt-Right and Arktos to focus on the Jebheyé Irângarâyân (Iranian United Front), an organization formed in Los Angeles on August 12th, 2017.
Jason has done numerous interviews, and delivered invited international lectures, on various subjects. He is the author of three books, Prometheus and Atlas , World State of Emergency, and Lovers of Sophia.
